May have to increase the fuel by removing the white spacer, -directions are on an earlier post- or remove the plug from the idle mixture screw and move it out per "fats". However it only has a minimal effect on top end so I'd look to the spacer, someone else has installed a Jardine in the earlier posts, maybe you can contact them direct to see what they did. None of my exhaust changes have worsened the top end of running. It would only be a co-incident that something else failed, air filter, fuel filter. one thing to do is when running at higher engine speed, pull the choke knob out to the first detent and see if the engine runs better, that would indicate more fuel is needed and the spacer need to come out from the main needle=raising the tapered needle in the main jet letting more fuel in for a given slide position.
